Limerick is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was named after the hometown of early settler William Evans, who was from Limerick, Ireland. It is home to the Isaac Hunsberger House and the William and Mordecai Evans House, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Limerick Township Historical Society – The Limerick Township Historical Society was founded in 1984 with the initial goal of publishing a township history, which was accomplished in 1987. Since then, the society has worked to preserve and create interest in the history of Limerick Township.
